PSAT Testing for 11th Graders (EMCA News)

Dear parents of 11th graders,
We are pleased to announce that East Memorial Christian Academy has become an official test center for the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). This test will enable students to:
· Get feedback about important academic skills
· Prepare for college entrance exams
· Enter scholarship competitions
The test will be given on Wednesday, October 15th and will take approximately three hours to complete. Class schedules will be adjusted to accommodate the students who will be taking the PSAT. The cost is $13 per student.
Please discuss this test with your student. If your student is interested in taking the exam, tell your student to give their name and $13 fee to the office by Monday, September 15th.

Students will participate in the prayer walk to raise funds through pledges from family and friends. There will be a picnic on the grounds and outside fun and activities as well. Then we will end the day with a "celebration" of our sucessful fundraiser with a concert. If you would like to participate in the concert, please let the front office know.
